Amid criticism of President Trump and the DOJ\u2019s handling of Epstein-related materials, Dershowitz clarified during a <em data-start=\"361\" data-end=\"373\">NewsNation<\/em> interview with Chris Cuomo that there is no Epstein \u201cclient list,\u201d only a redacted FBI affidavit.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"473\" data-end=\"824\">According to Dershowitz, the redactions are court-ordered to protect alleged victims, and the individuals named are not current public officials. \u201cNone of them are in office today,\u201d he said, though some previously held office or are deceased. He stressed that Attorney General Pam Bondi and President Trump are not to blame for the lack of disclosure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"826\" data-end=\"1248\">When asked if the Trump administration could release a hidden list, Dershowitz replied, \u201cThere\u2019s no client list and never has been.\u201d He explained that names within the affidavits could be revealed only through legal channels and court approval. He added that most names tied to Epstein\u2019s case have already been made public through media coverage and books, and that the public would be surprised by how few remain unknown.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1250\" data-end=\"1582\">Separately, a Florida federal judge recently denied a Trump administration request to release grand jury transcripts related to Epstein\u2019s 2005\u20132007 investigation. Citing binding legal precedent, the court ruled it lacked authority to authorize the release.
