The facility, built on a remote airfield surrounded by alligator-infested waters, primarily houses criminal migrants. Her ruling forced migrant transfers and paused ongoing construction.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"829\" data-end=\"1124\">On Thursday, Governor Ron DeSantis praised the appellate court\u2019s decision as a victory for immigration enforcement. \u201cSome leftist judge ruled implausibly that Florida couldn\u2019t use our own property,\u201d DeSantis said. \u201cNow, the court has stayed that ruling.
