The Utah County Sheriff\u2019s Department stated Robinson is currently housed in a special unit so deputies can \u201ckeep a close eye on him\u201d during the assessment process.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"612\" data-end=\"971\">The <strong data-start=\"616\" data-end=\"652\">evaluation may take several days<\/strong>, according to officials. Once completed, Robinson will proceed to the <strong data-start=\"723\" data-end=\"747\">classification stage<\/strong> to determine his long-term housing assignment while in custody. \u201cHe will continue to be monitored by mental, medical, and custody staff throughout the duration of his stay,\u201d the department said in a statement to <em data-start=\"960\" data-end=\"970\">Fox News<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"1302\">Officials explained that inmates may be placed on special watch for various reasons, including the <strong data-start=\"1072\" data-end=\"1095\">nature of the crime<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1097\" data-end=\"1118\">behavioral issues<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1120\" data-end=\"1139\">violent conduct<\/strong>, or <strong data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"1165\">suicidal comments<\/strong> made during arrest. In Robinson\u2019s case, authorities specifically cited concerns about <strong data-start=\"1252\" data-end=\"1273\">suicidal ideation<\/strong> as a factor in the decision.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1304\" data-end=\"1570\">Robinson is accused of <strong data-start=\"1327\" data-end=\"1352\">fatally shooting Kirk<\/strong>, 31, during a <strong data-start=\"1367\" data-end=\"1388\">Turning Point USA<\/strong> event at <strong data-start=\"1398\" data-end=\"1424\">Utah Valley University<\/strong> in Orem on Wednesday. Kirk, a <strong data-start=\"1455\" data-end=\"1480\">married father of two<\/strong> and prominent conservative figure, was speaking to a student audience when he was killed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1572\" data-end=\"1865\">Robinson was arrested following a <strong data-start=\"1606\" data-end=\"1625\">33-hour manhunt<\/strong>. A law enforcement source said Robinson\u2019s <strong data-start=\"1668\" data-end=\"1730\">father recognized him in FBI-released surveillance footage<\/strong> and, after speaking with a family minister, turned him in.
