Kirk, 30, co-founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot on September 10 during a speaking event at Utah Valley University. Witnesses say he was struck in the neck by a single bullet and collapsed in his chair. Despite emergency medical efforts, he was later pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

The FBI identified 22-year-old Tyler Robinson as the alleged shooter. He remains in custody facing aggravated murder and weapons charges, and prosecutors have indicated they may seek the death penalty. Kirk is survived by his wife, Erika, and their two young children, who have received widespread sympathy.<\/p>\n
