The Justice Department announced Thursday that Comey faces charges of making false statements to Congress and obstructing a congressional investigation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"404\" data-end=\"840\">Fox host Sean Hannity expressed concern about the legal system being used against former President Donald Trump. Bondi responded, \u201cYou shouldn\u2019t be nervous any longer because Donald Trump is in office, and the weaponization has ended.\u201d She emphasized that no one is above the law, stating, \u201cWhether you\u2019re a former FBI director\u2026 a billionaire funding organizations to try to keep Donald Trump out of office\u2026 everything is on the table.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"842\" data-end=\"1263\">Bondi declared that there would no longer be a two-tiered justice system. The charges against Comey relate to his 2020 Senate testimony, where he denied authorizing anonymous sources or knowing about the political flaws in the Steele dossier.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1650\">Recent reports allege that FBI Director Patel discovered \u201cburn bags\u201d of classified documents hidden at FBI headquarters. These documents are reportedly connected to Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI\u2019s 2016 probe into possible links between Trump\u2019s campaign and Russia. Patel claims the files were intentionally concealed to discredit Trump and protect the narrative of Russian interference.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1652\" data-end=\"1959\">Former DNI Tulsi Gabbard recently declassified documents she says contradict the 2017 intelligence report on Russian election interference.
