To everyone\u2019s surprise, the mysterious newborn turned out to be a domestic rabbit, just three to four days old. She had minor wounds and had been rescued not by a person, but by a dog who gently carried her to safety.<\/p>\n
This confused rescuers further, as domestic rabbits are rarely found alone in the wild, especially in areas without known breeders. Unlike wild rabbits, domestic ones are born blind and hairless.<\/p>\n
