Police in Loxahatchee, Florida, responded to the calls, though Blaxton, who reportedly has a history of mental illness, was not present at the time. He was arrested the following day.<\/p>\n<p>This incident came months after another assassination attempt on Trump. In July 2024, Thomas Matthew Crooks attempted to shoot Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
