She had served nearly a decade in the U.S. attorney\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"523\" data-end=\"777\">The dismissal coincides with heightened scrutiny surrounding James Comey, who recently posted a cryptic image online that some interpreted as threatening toward President Trump. The Secret Service investigated but James Comey denied any malicious intent.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"779\" data-end=\"1020\">Bondi reaffirmed her commitment to remain in office as long as President Trump wishes, despite criticism over the Justice Department\u2019s handling of the Epstein case.
