Donald Trump health update..

Donald Trump, now 79 years old, recently underwent a full medical evaluation that found him in overall “excellent health” and fit to serve, according to his official physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella. The report followed his annual physical and was released in April 2025.

Trump reportedly lost between 20 and 30 pounds since 2020. His weight was recorded at 224 pounds, with normal blood pressure, heart rate, and lab values. He scored a perfect 30/30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, used to screen for early signs of dementia.

His physical examination also revealed a few non-serious conditions. These included chronic venous insufficiency, which causes leg swelling, and diverticulosis, discovered during a 2024 colonoscopy. He also underwent successful cataract surgery in recent years.

Trump’s vaccination records are reportedly up to date, and he continues to take common medications like aspirin and cholesterol-lowering drugs. Some bruising on his hands was attributed to a combination of aspirin use and frequent handshaking.

He has actively promoted his fitness, even reviving a version of the Presidential Fitness Test to encourage youth health. Trump has also promoted his own routine, which allegedly includes a low-carb diet and regular golfing.

Despite the positive medical report, public concern over Trump’s cognitive health has grown. Recent appearances showed signs of confused speech, topic derailments, and forgetfulness, fueling speculation about potential mental decline.

A specific incident drew attention when Trump seemed unable to recognize individuals standing behind him, including key cabinet members. Critics and media outlets cited this moment as a potential sign of age-related cognitive issues.

Still, no medical professional has officially diagnosed Trump with dementia or other cognitive disorders. His campaign continues to present him as healthy, energetic, and capable of holding office again.
