faMcCarthy Predicts Crockett Could Be Voted Out After Scathing NYP Story

Democratic Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, known for her fiery opposition to Donald Trump, has come under intense scrutiny following a damaging exposé by the New York Post. The report, based on interviews with former staffers and congressional aides, paints a troubling picture of Crockett as a “diva” who mistreats her team and prioritizes media appearances over constituent services.

Staffers described Crockett, 44, as “rude” and frequently absent from her Washington, D.C., office, except when cameras were present. One aide claimed she spent more time lounging in her apartment than working, while another described her as being indifferent and often screaming at staff over minor issues. The lawmaker, in office since 2023, was also accused of working primarily from a luxury building rather than her official office.

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy weighed in during an appearance on Fox News, calling the situation troubling. He suggested voters may remove Crockett from office in 2026, especially given the harsh treatment her own staff alleges. McCarthy criticized Crockett’s public image of supporting Black women while reportedly firing one without cause.

Additional reports reveal Crockett’s alleged obsession with status and media exposure. She reportedly demands that staff rent luxury vehicles like Escalades for short trips and insists they open doors for her. Former aides said she seemed more concerned with appearing on TV shows than addressing district concerns or local issues.

The New York Post article also highlighted the rapid turnover within Crockett’s team, citing a toxic work culture. Former staffers, particularly Black women, felt disrespected and disempowered. One described a demoralizing encounter where Crockett reduced a staff member to tears with harsh remarks about their dedication.

Despite the criticism, Crockett continues to gain attention for her viral speeches and public opposition to Trump, but the internal turmoil may threaten her future in Congress.
