4-year-old boy passes away after telling mom ‘under my arm hurts’

Sammy Knowles, a mother from Sheffield, shared the heartbreaking loss of her 4-year-old son, Jaxon Knowles.

After returning from what was meant to be a dream vacation, Jaxon complained of pain under his arm. The next morning, his condition worsened, developing a rash and difficulty breathing.

His parents called an ambulance, but by the time they arrived at the hospital, Jaxon’s condition was critical. Doctors diagnosed him with meningitis and attempted to save him, but tragically, he passed away on February 17. His parents, devastated by the sudden loss, are now raising awareness about meningitis, hoping to prevent future tragedies.

In his memory, a charity page was created to support meningitis research. Sheffield Wednesday, Jaxon’s favorite football club, will honor him during an upcoming match.
