David Hasselhoff has paid a heartfelt tribute to his ex-wife, Pamela Bach, after she was found dead at her Hollywood Hills home on March 5, 2025, at the age of 62. According to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s office, Bach’s death was a result of suicide.
Bach, best known for her role in Baywatch, is survived by two daughters, Haley, 32, and Taylor, 34, whom she shared with Hasselhoff. The two were married for almost 20 years, from 1989 to 2006. Hasselhoff expressed his profound sorrow in a statement, saying, “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff.” He continued, thanking friends and fans for their support, but requested privacy as the family mourns.
The couple met on the set of Knight Rider, where Hasselhoff played the iconic role of Michael Knight. They married in December 1989 and had two daughters before their separation in 2006. Following their divorce, the couple initially shared custody of their children, but Hasselhoff was later granted full custody.
Pamela Bach was a well-established actress, with notable roles in The Young and the Restless and appearances in series like Cheers, The Fall Guy, T.J. Hooker, Superboy, and Viper.
Bach’s tragic passing comes shortly after the death of legendary actor Gene Hackman, who was found dead at his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on February 26, 2025. Authorities have launched an investigation, as there is now some suspicion surrounding the deaths of Hackman, his wife Betsy Arakawa, and their dog.
Rest in peace, Pamela Bach.
