A recent Quinnipiac University poll reveals growing dissatisfaction among Democrats with their party’s performance in Congress. According to the survey conducted between June 5–8, 53% of Democratic respondents disapproved of how congressional Democrats are doing their jobs, while only 41% expressed approval. This marks a notable shift, highlighting internal frustration within the party’s base.
Across all registered voters, approval for congressional Democrats was even lower—only 21% said they approve of their performance, while a striking 70% disapproved. This 21% approval rate ties the all-time low recorded in Quinnipiac’s February poll and matches the lowest level seen since the university began tracking this question in March 2009.
