John Ramsey, father of JonBenét Ramsey, has made a shocking claim about his daughter’s unsolved 1996 murder.
In an exclusive interview with People, he suggested a masked intruder could be responsible for JonBenét’s death and a subsequent attack on a 12-year-old girl in Boulder nine months later. He stated, “It could easily have been the same person,” though authorities dismissed this theory.
Despite the lack of resolution, he hopes modern forensic techniques, like DNA analysis, could help identify the killer.
The investigation initially targeted JonBenét’s family due to a ransom note found in their home. John and his wife Patsy maintained their innocence, but no charges were filed, and Patsy passed away in 2006.
John urges law enforcement to reconsider the case with modern methods.
