Retired General Michael Flynn has called for a federal raid on former President Barack Obama’s Washington, D.C., residence, claiming parallels with the FBI’s 2022 search of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. Speaking to podcast host Benny Johnson, Flynn suggested that Obama is orchestrating President Joe Biden’s administration from his Kalorama neighborhood home and accused the Department of Justice (DOJ) of selectively enforcing laws. He also claimed that evidence was “planted” at Mar-a-Lago—an allegation previously unsubstantiated.
Flynn urged the DOJ to establish a federal task force and assign a dedicated prosecutor to investigate what he described as criminal interference from Obama-era officials. He framed the situation as urgent and accused former leaders of undermining Trump’s presidency.
On Fox News, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) joined the chorus, referencing alleged violations of 18 U.S. Code § 1001 for lying under oath and issuing false intelligence reports. Luna, along with Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), called for arrests and prosecutions of former officials they claim participated in what Luna called a “treasonous conspiracy” against Trump during his first term.
Former Democratic congresswoman and current Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard added fuel to the claims, alleging a years-long plot by Obama administration officials to sabotage Trump. She promised to release further declassified documents detailing what she called a “seditious conspiracy” hidden from the public.
Gabbard criticized previous investigations led by Robert Mueller and John Durham, suggesting they deliberately ignored evidence. She argued that accountability and criminal prosecution are essential for restoring public trust in U.S. democracy.
