Stephen Miller Vows Crackdown on “Domestic Terrorism” After Charlie Kirk Assassination
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller appeared on Fox News’ Hannity Friday night, delivering a fiery response to the recent assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Miller blamed the killing on what he called “radicalized left-wing domestic terrorists” and promised swift action from the Trump administration.
Speaking with host Sean Hannity, Miller condemned years of “eliminationist rhetoric” from Democratic leaders, educators, and media figures. He claimed such rhetoric—including labeling Trump and his supporters as “fascists” or “threats to democracy”—has created an environment that incites violence.
Referring to the arrest of Tyler Robinson, 22, of Utah, who allegedly harbored far-left views, Miller compared modern universities to “madrasas for jihadism,” accusing them of nurturing extremism. He cited online celebrations of Kirk’s death by some public-sector workers as further evidence of a broader domestic terrorism problem.
Miller shared that Kirk’s final message to him was a call to “dismantle the radical left organizations fomenting violence.” He pledged that the administration would use every legal tool available—including RICO and conspiracy charges—to target those responsible.
“We will not live in fear,” Miller said. “But you will live in exile… We will find you. We will take away your money, your power, and if you’ve broken the law, your freedom.” His remarks signal a potentially aggressive legal and political campaign targeting perceived left-wing extremism ahead of the 2026 elections.
