Vance Warns ‘Rogue’ Federal Judges Taking Power From Executive Branch

Vice President JD Vance warned “rogue” federal judges who he believes are overstepping their authority to impede President Trump’s actions.

Courts have blocked Trump’s efforts on issues like birthright citizenship, federal grants, and agency reforms, including a recent ruling restricting Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing sensitive Treasury data. Musk accused the judge of corruption and called for impeachment. Vance criticized judges interfering with the Executive Branch, likening it to unlawful interference in military or prosecutorial discretion. Trump echoed Vance’s frustration, stating that a president must be able to address fraud and waste. Republicans are considering impeachment for judges who block Trump’s initiatives, but securing the necessary votes in Congress may be difficult.
