Joe, Jill Biden Attend Glamourous Broadway Opening

Former President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden made their first public appearance since leaving the White House, attending the Broadway opening of Othello in New York City.

The 82-year-old former president, dressed in a black tuxedo, arrived at the Barrymore Theatre for the performance, featuring Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal. Jill Biden later shared a photo on Instagram, calling it a “date night.”

Their appearance follows reports of Biden reaching out to Democratic leaders offering to help revitalize the party after its 2024 losses. However, his proposal was met with criticism from within the party. Former staffers and Democratic insiders ridiculed Biden, calling his efforts “delusional” and “selfish,” with some suggesting that the party should embrace younger leadership instead of Biden. Despite the backlash, Biden has signed with the Creative Artists Agency to promote his post-presidential career.
