Strategist who made bold prediction on when Trump’s administration will ‘collapse’ claims it’s now happened

James Carville, the Democratic strategist, has claimed that President Donald Trump’s administration has collapsed “quicker than [he] imagined.

” Carville, who had predicted the downfall of Trump’s administration shortly after his return to office in January, cited a drop in Trump’s approval ratings from the low 50s to the upper 30s. He had initially predicted the administration would crumble in less than 30 days, particularly in public opinion.

A month later, Carville said the collapse had already taken place. He cited incidents like the “Signal-gate” leak of war plans, which highlighted the chaotic nature of the administration. Carville, noting that his prediction was wrong in timing, quipped that the Trump administration should make April Fool’s Day a national holiday due to the disarray.

Despite some polls suggesting Trump’s popularity was rising, Carville emphasized that election results, not ratings, were what truly mattered.
