Man who was accidentally added to secret group chat about US war plans reveals bombshell new texts

The Atlantic’s editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, revealed he was accidentally added to a Signal group chat with senior Trump officials, including Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Goldberg released more messages, countering claims that no classified information was shared. One message from Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth discussed airstrikes on Yemen, revealing sensitive timing and weather details, which could have jeopardized the mission if exposed. Goldberg argued that the public should see the messages, given administration claims downplaying their significance. The White House denied any wrongdoing, calling the story a “hoax.”
