Trump’s Approval Rating Surges To New Record High, Poll Finds

President Donald Trump’s approval rating has risen to 53%, a four-point increase from last week, despite backlash from Democrats, establishment Republicans, and media outlets over his trade policies.

A recent poll from J.L. Partners and the Daily Mail showed this rise in support, even after new tariffs were imposed on April 2.

Notably, Trump’s favorability among voters aged 18 to 29 surged by 13 points, and support among Democrats and independents also grew by 6 percentage points. Trump’s policies are being praised by small business owners, with many expecting economic growth.

Additionally, Trump announced that Vietnamese leader To Lam is willing to eliminate tariffs in exchange for a trade agreement, which boosted stocks of companies like Nike.
