Press Sec Karoline Leavitt Shares Big Update On Trump’s Plans

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt provided an update on President Donald Trump’s upcoming tariffs, which are set to be implemented on April 2.

During a Fox News interview, Leavitt explained that Trump’s reciprocal tariffs will apply to all countries, not just those with large trade imbalances.

She emphasized that Trump’s trade policies aim to end unfair practices and revitalize American industries. Leavitt declared April 2 as “Liberation Day,” marking the end of unfair trade practices that have harmed American workers and businesses.

Trump is also targeting several countries with tariffs, including China, and plans to match duties imposed by other nations on U.S. exports. The move aims to bring back significant investments and create more jobs for American families.
