‘You’re Not Scaring Me’: Noem Dodges Kicks From Migrant Suspect on ICE Raid

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem took charge of a deportation raid in Arizona, leading around 100 federal agents in a pre-dawn operation.

The raid targeted three illegal immigrants with extensive criminal records, including weapons offenses, drug-related crimes, and operating a money laundering ring. Dressed in full tactical gear, Noem was seen interacting with agents from ICE, the FBI, and other federal agencies, emphasizing the importance of their cooperation.

During the operation, Noem deftly avoided a suspect’s kick, joking about the suspect’s Crocs. The first arrest was Bonifacio Renteria-Cruz, a Mexican immigrant with ties to the Sinaloa Cartel. The second was Jose Escobar-Robles, suspected of aiding cartel-related money laundering. The final suspect, Luis Garcia-Sanchez, was tied to the 18th Street Gang.
