Karoline Leavitt Teaches Lefty Media Valuable Lesson: ‘Do Not Respond’

The Trump White House is stepping up its opposition to “gender ideology,” now targeting the media. Officials have reportedly begun ignoring journalists who include gender pronouns in their email signatures.

In at least three cases, press aides declined to respond to inquiries solely because reporters used pronouns like “he/him” or “they/them.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the administration views pronoun use as political signaling, not objective reporting. “Any reporter who chooses to put their preferred pronouns in their bio clearly does not care about biological reality or truth,” she stated.

The policy echoes a previous Trump-era rule banning pronouns in federal email signatures. Communications director Steven Cheung dismissed criticism, saying outlets like The New York Times should focus more on reporting truth than on pronouns.
