Michelle Obama breaks silence on divorce rumours with Barack following speculation

Michelle Obama has addressed the ongoing rumors about her and Barack Obama’s marriage in a recent interview on Sophia Bush’s podcast, Work in Progress.

Speculation about a possible divorce had grown earlier this year, especially after Barack was seen attending public events alone. Michelle, however, clarified that her recent life changes are personal choices, not signs of marital issues.

“For the first time in my life, all of my choices are for me,” she explained, emphasizing her desire to focus on herself now that her daughters are grown. She criticized societal expectations that assume a woman’s independence must mean relationship problems, saying, “This couldn’t be a grown woman just making her own decisions, right?”

Barack also recently acknowledged that he was working on reconnecting with Michelle post-presidency, admitting he had been in a “deep deficit” with her due to the demands of office. Both insist their relationship remains strong despite public speculation.
