Comedian Ruby Wax Recalls Being Kicked Off Trump’s Plane
Before Donald Trump became president, British comedian Ruby Wax was kicked off his private jet in the 1990s for mocking his ambition to run for office. She shared the story on Good Morning Britain, saying she laughed when Trump said he wanted to be president, thinking he was joking. He responded by having her removed mid-flight.
Wax described Trump as “aggressive and hostile,” recalling he didn’t like her sarcasm. After being kicked off the plane, she and her crew were stranded in Arkansas while Trump went to judge a beauty pageant.
The story resurfaced as Trump’s approval rating climbed, especially among younger and minority voters. A recent survey also showed increased optimism among small business owners, who credit Trump’s pro-business stance for their outlook.
