President Donald Trump has revoked the security clearances of former CISA Director Chris Krebs and former DHS official Miles Taylor. Trump also ordered investigations into their actions during his first term.
A Presidential Memorandum directs the Department of Justice to examine alleged misconduct by Krebs, who publicly rejected claims of election fraud in 2020. Trump labeled Krebs a “fraud” for downplaying concerns over election integrity.
The memo also targets any individuals or organizations linked to Krebs, including SentinelOne. Miles Taylor, revealed as the anonymous author of a 2018 anti-Trump op-ed, also faces clearance suspension and investigation.
Taylor currently teaches at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard claimed that U.S. electronic voting systems are vulnerable to hacking, reinforcing Trump’s continued focus on election security.
