White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt recently invited 9-year-old cancer patient Vivian Sleeth to take the podium in the press briefing room.
Vivian, from Rockledge, Florida, has been battling a rare brain cancer known as DIPG since 2022. Diagnosed after experiencing double vision, she has undergone experimental treatments in Washington, D.C.
During her special moment, she answered light-hearted questions from Leavitt’s team, sharing that her favorite color is blue, she loves chocolate ice cream and pancakes, and she dreams of owning a million dogs.
Vivian also said she’d give gifts to kids and adults if she were president for a day.
The event was a heartwarming gesture, echoing a similar moment when Trump honored another young cancer patient during his address to Congress earlier this year.
