President Donald Trump, aged 78, underwent a comprehensive physical examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on April 11, 2025.
The assessment, conducted by White House physician Captain Sean Barbabella, concluded that Trump is in “excellent health,” demonstrating robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical functions.
Notably, Trump scored a perfect 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a standard test used to detect early signs of cognitive decline.
Additionally, he has lost 20 pounds since his last exam in 2020, now weighing 224 pounds. This weight loss is attributed to his active lifestyle, including frequent participation in meetings and golf.
The report also mentioned minor health issues, such as scarring on his right ear from a previous gunshot wound and findings from a July colonoscopy, including diverticulosis and a benign polyp. Trump is scheduled for a follow-up colonoscopy in three years.
