Putin’s Alleged UK Nuclear Targets Leaked
A leaked list of potential UK targets for Russian nuclear strikes has resurfaced amid rising tensions. The list, allegedly created by Vladimir Putin, includes sites like a factory in Hull, a shipyard in Cumbria (likely Barrow-in-Furness), and a location near Edinburgh, possibly Rosyth.
The targets were part of a broader dossier from 2008–2014 listing 32 locations across Europe and beyond, including Romania, China, and Japan. Though the documents are over a decade old, experts believe they remain relevant given today’s global tensions.
Russian state TV host Vladimir Solovyov has repeatedly threatened the UK and its allies, saying they would face severe consequences for supporting Ukraine. His comments have fueled fears of a wider conflict, especially after UK and French leaders expressed willingness to send troops for peacekeeping efforts.
Despite the threats, analysts say the safest places in the UK in such a scenario have also been identified.
