Strategist Predicts Trump Collapse After ‘Ignorant’ Act
Democratic strategist James Carville, who has predicted the fall of Donald Trump’s administration, recently slammed the president for what he calls one of the most “ignorant” acts in U.S. history.
Since returning to office in January, Trump has made sweeping changes—renaming the Gulf of Mexico, abolishing the Department of Education, and passing a bill to overhaul elections. His aggressive tariff policies have shaken financial markets, prompting Carville to warn the administration could collapse within 30 days.
In a New York Times op-ed, Carville wrote that Trump’s tariff decisions have “wilfully damaged the global economy,” calling it economic warfare that violates the core rule of politics: don’t destabilize the economy.
Carville also criticized Elon Musk’s role in Trump’s government, claiming his involvement is energizing Democratic voters more than Barack Obama ever did.
