Actor George Clooney Raises Eyebrows About Top 2028 Democrat

Oscar-winning actor and prominent Democrat George Clooney reaffirmed his political influence in a recent CNN interview, endorsing Maryland Governor Wes Moore as the future leader of the Democratic Party.

Clooney praised Moore for his leadership during the Baltimore tragedy, military service, and work with the Robin Hood Foundation, calling him a “proper leader.”

He also mentioned admiration for Governors Andy Beshear and Gretchen Whitmer but emphasized Moore as his top choice.

Clooney played a major role in pushing President Joe Biden off the 2024 ticket after a critical op-ed citing concerns about Biden’s age and performance. Despite previously supporting Biden, Clooney expressed frustration with former President Obama, accusing him of using Clooney as a “patsy” in the effort.

Clooney urged Democrats to unite behind a new leader soon.
