New Details Drop Regarding NY AG Letitia James’ Property Scandal

Neighbors claim New York Attorney General Letitia James has never stayed at her Virginia property, now central to mortgage fraud allegations.

FHFA Director William Pulte accused James of using false information on mortgage applications since the 1980s to secure better loan terms.

Though James listed the Virginia house as her primary residence, neighbors say they’ve only seen a different woman and her daughter living there since late 2023. The three-bedroom home was previously occupied by another family for four years.

When reporters visited the property, residents reacted aggressively, denying comment and accusing them of trespassing. Pulte also cited concerns with a New York multi-unit building James owns.

In response, a spokesperson for James said she remains committed to protecting New Yorkers and won’t be intimidated by politically motivated attacks.
