President Donald Trump appointed Fox News host Mark Levin and former contributor Bo Dietl to his revamped Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC).
Announcing the move on Truth Social, Trump praised the new members, including South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster and Joseph Gruters, stating they would help secure the border, combat fentanyl, and enhance national safety.
Levin, who hosts a Fox News weekend show and a daily radio program, called the appointment an honor. In February, Levin signed a multi-year deal with Cumulus Media to continue his radio work and launch his first original podcast.
A legal scholar and Reagan-era official, Levin is known for clear analysis on political and legal issues. He also hosts Life, Liberty & Levin on Fox and is a member of the Radio Hall of Fame.
