FBI’s Dan Bongino Shares Big Update: ‘Not An Accident’

FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino have vowed to reform what they call a broken agency. Bongino, posting on X, said changes are happening behind the scenes and promised results, even if not immediately visible.

He emphasized transparency, asking the public for patience and understanding due to legal limits on what can be shared.

In March, the FBI received a record 5,577 applications for new agents—double the usual monthly average—reflecting renewed interest under Patel’s leadership. Since January, over 10,000 applications have been submitted.

Patel and Bongino have focused on boosting morale and encouraging strong law enforcement recruitment.

A new FBI video highlights this renewed mission, showing Patel working alongside agents and ending with the message: “A renewed mission. A stronger future.”
