Trump made the statement on his Truth Social platform, warning that America could “end up like Europe” if it doesn’t address these issues.
This comment follows a tense meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, where Trump threatened to abandon Ukraine unless his peace terms were accepted.
Meanwhile, European leaders, including British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, have urged the U.S. to continue supporting Ukraine and to ramp up defense spending.
