‘Exiled’: Don Jr. Rips Trump Admin ‘Traitor’ For Public Attack On Hegseth

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered internal purges at the Pentagon following leaks of classified military plans. However, former Pentagon spokesperson John Ullyot, who resigned recently, claimed in a Politico op-ed that the firings were meant to hide deeper dysfunction.

Donald Trump Jr. labeled Ullyot a “traitor” and said he had long worked against his father’s agenda. The controversy follows reports of Hegseth discussing secret operations in Signal chats, one of which mistakenly included The Atlantic’s editor.

Despite reports suggesting Trump may replace Hegseth, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt dismissed them as “fake news.” Trump has publicly defended Hegseth, saying he had no role in the leaks and praised the success of the military mission, while blaming National Security Advisor Mike Waltz for the messaging error.
