NYPD Arrests ‘Emotionally Disturbed’ Person At Trump Tower

NYPD Arrests ‘Emotionally Disturbed’ Person at Trump Tower

On April 21, 2025, NYPD officers arrested a 30-year-old individual inside Trump Tower in Manhattan following reports of a disorderly person on an “elevated surface.” Police responded around 4:30 p.m., clearing the building’s public atrium.

The NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit, equipped for high-angle rescues, took the person into custody without incident. The individual’s identity and any potential charges remain undisclosed as the investigation continues.

Trump Tower, which houses Donald Trump’s residence and businesses, has a history of high-profile incidents, including a 2016 building-scaling stunt. No injuries were reported in this latest event.

Authorities confirmed that former President Trump was not present during the incident. This marks another security concern involving Trump-related properties in recent months.
