President Donald Trump has announced plans to sue Perkins Coie, the law firm linked to the Clinton campaign and the opposition research group behind the discredited Steele dossier.
In a Truth Social post, Trump criticized the firm for hiring Fusion GPS, which produced the controversial report alleging coordination between the Trump campaign and Russian operatives in the 2016 election.
Trump also targeted Judge Beryl Howell, an Obama appointee, claiming bias after she blocked a presidential order banning Perkins Coie employees from federal government buildings.
The law firm, which employs 1,200 people, has countersued Trump, with claims of discrimination against its white employees. None of the Steele dossier’s claims were substantiated, with investigations by Robert Mueller and John Durham concluding there was no evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia.
