Beloved GOP Lawmaker STABBED, Husband Killed In Overnight Attack

Longtime Republican Commissioner Bobbie J. Mitchell is in stable condition after being critically injured in a stabbing at her Lewisville,

Texas home that left her husband, Fred Mitchell, dead. The attack occurred early Monday morning and was allegedly carried out by their 23-year-old grandson, Mitchell Blake Reinacher, using a serrated kitchen knife. Police arrived minutes after a 911 call and found both victims with severe wounds. Fred Mitchell died shortly after 5 a.m., while Commissioner Mitchell underwent emergency surgery. Reinacher was arrested at the scene and faces charges of murder and aggravated assault. The investigation is ongoing.
