Montana’s laws had banned same-day voter registration and paid ballot collection on Election Day.
The Court also declined to hear major gun rights cases, including challenges to Delaware’s ban on assault weapons and Maryland’s handgun licensing law, leaving lower court rulings in place. Despite its conservative majority, the Court chose not to weigh in on these contentious Second Amendment issues.
