Wisconsin Judge Relieved of Duties After Alleged Obstruction in ICE Case
The Wisconsin Supreme Court has temporarily suspended Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan following her arrest for allegedly helping an undocumented immigrant avoid federal agents. Dugan is accused of hiding the individual—Mexican national Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, a defendant in a domestic violence case—from ICE after a court appearance on April 18.
According to federal authorities, she led Flores-Ruiz and his lawyer through a restricted exit to avoid ICE agents. Dugan now faces charges of obstructing a federal agency and aiding in the concealment of a person to avoid arrest.
She is scheduled to appear in federal court on May 15. Her attorney denies the charges, while Attorney General Pam Bondi criticized her actions as obstructive and dangerous.
