Secret Service Intervenes To Protect Ivanka, Jared From Mystery Man

A Secret Service agent forcefully intervened when a man approached Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump too closely in South Beach, Florida, Sunday night.

Captured on video by a journalist, the agent pushed the man away after he grabbed the agent’s arm, raising concerns about aggressive tactics and Secret Service stress amid stretched resources. The incident comes amid broader scrutiny of the agency following an independent review of the July 2024 assassination attempt on Donald Trump, which exposed systemic flaws and called for sweeping reforms in leadership, planning, and training.
