WATCH: Florida Senator Passes Out While Speaking at Press Conference

Florida State Sen. Ileana Garcia fainted during a news conference alongside Gov. Ron DeSantis while speaking on environmental issues.

She collapsed after saying she didn’t feel well but was quickly helped by Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo and recovered shortly after, even continuing her speech with humor. The event took place as DeSantis promoted two new bills—SB 700, banning local fluoride mandates in drinking water, and SB 56, prohibiting geoengineering and atmospheric chemical manipulation in Florida.
