Legal Expert Accuses Chief Justice Roberts Of ‘Judicial Sabotage’ Against Trump

Mike Davis, head of the Article III Project and former clerk to Justice Neil Gorsuch, accused Chief Justice John Roberts of malfeasance for allowing lower courts to undermine former President Trump’s second-term agenda.

In a podcast interview with Joe Piscopo, Davis supported a lawsuit filed by America First Legal targeting Roberts and Robert J. Conrad, alleging they exceeded judicial authority through regulatory actions.

Davis claimed Roberts failed to stop activist judges from issuing nationwide injunctions that he argues weakened Trump’s Article II powers. He labeled such actions as “judicial sabotage” and warned of political backlash.

Davis emphasized his group’s commitment to defending Trump, criticizing lifetime-appointed judges who, he said, inappropriately influence politics. He added, “This is dangerous to our republic.”
