Trump To Use Migrant Funds To Build Center For Homeless Vets: Report

President Donald Trump signed an executive order establishing the National Center for Warrior Independence for homeless veterans, using funds redirected from services for illegal immigrants.

Located at the VA campus in West Los Angeles—home to around 3,000 homeless veterans—the center aims to house up to 6,000 vets by 2028. The facility will offer housing, addiction treatment, and job support.

The order also directs HUD to assist with vouchers and expands veterans’ access to healthcare through extended hours and virtual options.

Trump criticized the Biden administration for reinstating employees fired for misconduct and called for accountability at the VA.

Additionally, the administration claims success in slowing public debt growth, citing a 92% decrease in the pace since Biden’s term. Trump also proposed a 10% import duty to boost American manufacturing.
