Officials: Democrats Face Arrest After Confrontation At ICE Facility In New Jersey

Several Democratic lawmakers, including Reps. LaMonica McIver, Bonnie Watson Coleman, and Rob Menendez, may face arrest after allegedly assaulting officers during a confrontation at an ICE detention facility in New Jersey, according to Fox News.

Newark Mayor Ras Baraka has already been arrested for trespassing.

ICE and DHS claim bodycam footage shows McIver aggressively pushing past agents, contradicting her and Coleman’s statements that ICE used force against them. The incident remains under investigation, and DHS officials say more arrests are possible.
