Jean-Pierre Blasts Democrat ‘Firing Squad’ For Kicking Biden Off Ticket

Former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre criticized Democratic leaders for pressuring Joe Biden to leave the 2024 race, calling their actions a “firing squad.” Speaking at Harvard, she said the party turned on Biden after his poor debate performance, which she described as “hurtful and sad.”

Jean-Pierre emphasized that Biden had the right to decide whether to run again and that she fully supported him. She expressed disappointment that party leaders didn’t unify but instead created damaging division.

Reports have since revealed that Biden’s inner circle had long recognized signs of his physical and cognitive decline, managing his public appearances accordingly.

Jean-Pierre’s remarks underscore ongoing tensions within the Democratic Party after the 2024 election fallout.
