Trump Confirms He’s Sending Rubio To Turkey For Ukraine-Russia Talks

President Donald Trump confirmed on Tuesday that Secretary of State Marco Rubio will represent his administration in Turkey to oversee peace talks between Russia and Ukraine.

Trump had previously suggested he might attend the negotiations himself but decided against it.

Rubio, who was already scheduled to attend a NATO meeting in Turkey, will also participate in the peace talks while accompanying Trump on his first major overseas trip of the term. Trump emphasized that the talks, set for Thursday, could produce significant results.

Additionally, Trump warned Iran during a speech in Saudi Arabia that time was running out on a peace offer.
