Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated her agency would not be deterred by leaks following an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid leak.
Noem emphasized that ICE would pursue those breaking the law, referring to the arrest of MS-13 and 18th Street gang members and sex criminals.
The leak, reported by Migrant Insider, revealed upcoming raids in Northern Virginia, leading to public warnings by activists. ICE officials expressed concern that the leaks could put agents in danger.
Meanwhile, Trump border czar Tom Homan vowed to investigate the leaks and hold responsible those interfering with operations. Democrats, including Reps. Dan Goldman and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, faced scrutiny for advising people on how to avoid ICE, leading to Republican criticism of their actions.
